Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care profession, emphasizing prevention, treatment, and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals' inherent self-healing process.

Our training

Licensed naturopathic doctors attend 4 year accredited naturopathic medical schools. Our training includes a foundation of biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and physical exam skills. Additionally, naturopathic doctors have extensive training in botanical medicine, physical medicine, nutrition, nutrient therapy, counseling, and mind-body medicine. We offer a “best of both worlds” approach, with the ability to prescribe medications when necessary and offer non-medication options where appropriate.
